I HAD THE BEST IDEA EVER GUYS

So I was walking home today, thinking about how much I want to travel to Europe, when my mind wandered to Tumblr, as it often does. I started thinking about how often I saw posts about how much someone wants to travel, or visit a friend they made on this site, or just plain asking if anyone will put them up for a week or so. Then it hit me: what if I set up a blog specifically for finding a place to crash while traveling? Kind of a Couch Surf type thing, except exclusively for Tumblr users. Think about it; most Tumblr users are very similar in age, and have a lot in common. There aren’t too many weirdos on here either. So on this blog you could post something like this: “Hello, I’m an 18 year old girl from New England looking for someone to stay with for a week or two in France. I would like to stay with a girl around my age, preferably close to/in Paris. Please message me if you are interested!” and then people will contact you, and you can find someone you connect with, and get to know them for a bit before going to stay with them. This way you can make friends and connections, and they can take you around the places you want to visit, and maybe places you didn’t even know you wanted to visit.
